LIVERMORE, ME : Livermore Falls man died from crash injuries on Sunday, January 1st 2017
The state medical examiner has determined that the death of a Livermore Falls man early Sunday morning was the result of injuries he sustained in a car accident, and not from a medical condition.According to a statement from Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, Tuesday’s autopsy of 40-year-old Shawn Berry determined he died from his injuries.
Berry was a passenger in a car being driven by Brady Romano, 37, of Livermore Falls. Romano had pulled the car over along Route 4 because Berry was not feeling well, according to police. The car was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Sarah Clark, 30, of Farmington.
The crash took place at 1:20 a.m. Sunday and is the state’s first highway death of the new year.
Troopers will have the district attorney’s office review their final crash report after it is completed.
