Waupaca,WI : Man killed in Waupaca Co. crash identified on August, Thursday 17th 2017

An Almond man is dead after a crash in Waupaca County Thursday afternoon, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

It happened just before 2:30 p.m. on Crystal Lake Road near Waupaca.

Authorities said 27-year-old Cody Monnier died after he lost control, went into a ditch and struck a tree. They say he had his seat belt on, and was the only one in the car.

The investigation is ongoing.
