Corinth, NY : Troy woman charged with DWI in crash that hurt passenger on Sunday, December, 17th 2017

An early Sunday morning crash sent two women to the hospital and resulted in the driver being charged with DWI and vehicular assault.

Kiera T. Daniels, 26, of Third Avenue, Troy was the driver of a 2004 Honda Pilot that struck a tree at 1:46 a.m. on West Maple Street in the village, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office. She was treated for neck pain and bruising at Saratoga Hospital and was released.

Her passenger Ariannah S. Reyes, 24, of River Street, Troy, was sent to Albany Medical Center for pain in her hip. She was listed in stable condition.

In addition to vehicular assault, a felony, Daniels was charged with DWI and failing to keep right.

Daniels was arraigned and sent to Saratoga County jail. Bail was set at $1,000.
