CARBON COUNTY, PA : Man dies after crash in Carbon County on Thursday, 6th June 2024

A Carbon County man is dead after leading police on a high-speed chase.

Officials say they tried to pull over Matthew Stepp Thursday night in Franklin Township.

Stepp refused to stop and led police on a chase into Towamensing Township.

Officials say Stepp lost control of the vehicle, went off the road, and hit a tree.
