TREMONTON, UT : 17-year-old on early-morning bike ride struck, killed by truck in Tremonton on Tuesday, 5th September 2023

A 17-year-old girl riding her bike early Tuesday morning in Tremonton was killed in an auto-cyclist crash, authorities stated.

The crash shut down Main Street at 1500 West in the pre-dawn hours of Sept. 5, and the closure stayed in place into the morning as dozens of law enforcement and medical vehicles responded.

According to Tremonton Police Chief Dustin Cordova, at approximately 6 a.m., the Bear River High School student was riding her bike in the area when she was struck by a truck and killed.
