ATTICA, NY : Teen injured in Alexander collision on February, Monday 5th 2018
One person was transported to United Memorial Medical Center after a two-vehicle accident that occurred around noon Monday.
An 18-year-old female was driving between Prospect Street and Stroh Road in Attica when she lost control of her red sedan in the slush on Route 98, said Chief Dean Hendershott of the Attica police. The female pickup driver was uninjured and seen walking around at the scene following the incident, police said.
Alexander 10 rushed the teenage driver to Batavia hospital for leg and back pain, Hendershott said.
Route 98 was closed while firefighters and rescue personnel handled the accident. Attica fire and police, along with Alexander fire and rescue personnel, assisted at the scene.
The injured driver’s identity wasn’t immediately available at press time Monday evening.
