ALEXANDRIA, MO : A Kahoka woman was hospitalized a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday, May 31, 2017

A Kahoka woman was hospitalized Wednesday after a two-vehicle crash at the junction of U.S. 136 and U.S. 61.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report said that Clarissa Rankin, 31, was taken by private auto to Keokuk (Iowa) Area Hospital after suffering minor injuries.

Rankin was a passenger in a 2006 GMC Sierra driven by Matthew C. Rankin, 35, of Kahoka, which struck the rear of a 2002 GMC Yukon driven by Kristy M. Fishback of Kahoka. The GMC Yukon had stopped at a stop sign when struck by the GMC Sierra.

The crash occurred at 4:40 p.m. All involved parties were wearing safety devices.
