Joplin, MO : A Carthage woman suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday, October, 16th 2017

A Carthage woman suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 160, about 5 miles north of Carthage in Jasper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Shelly A. Schrader, 37, was taken to Mercy Hospital Carthage.

Schrader was driving a northbound vehicle that ran off the road, struck a ditch and overturned when she attempted to avoid a vehicle that pulled into her path, the patrol said.
