Two cars collided on Route 28 in WEST FALMOUTH
West Falmouth, Massachusetts
Two cars collided Monday evening on Route 28, sending one driver to the hospital with serious injuries.
Around 6:45 p.m., police and fire personnel responded to Route 28 near Braeside Road, where one driver was trapped in the car, said Falmouth fire Lt. Ann Bartos.
The driver was freed using a hydraulic extraction tool and taken to Falmouth Hospital with injuries deemed serious but not life-threatening, Bartos said.
The other driver was uninjured, she said.
The crash is under investigation by the Falmouth Police Department.
