Seattle, WA : Cyclist injured in Seattle collision with truck on Monday, August 4, 2014
The Seattle Fire Department says a 26-year-old bicyclist who was hit and dragged a short distance by a tractor-trailer rig after he got stuck underneath the truck was alert when medics took him to a hospital.
The man was reported in stable condition after the Monday afternoon collision. He reportedly suffered fractures and severe scrapes.
It wasn't immediately clear how the cyclist and truck got tangled.
Firefighters used industrial airbags to lift the truck and free the injured cyclist.
