Englewood, NJ : Driver killed in a crash on a northern New Jersey highway early Saturday, January 16, 2016

Authorities have released the name of a driver killed in a weekend crash on a northern New Jersey highway.

The Bergen County Sheriff's Office says 21-year-old Bevan Senior Jr., of Teaneck, was driving westbound on Route 4 in Englewood early Saturday when the car struck a center divider. Senior was ejected from the vehicle and then struck by a passing vehicle.

Senior was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in his car was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
