LOUISVILLE, KY : Jeffersonville man killed in crash on I-65 while trying to avoid deer on Sunday, 3rd November 2024

A Jeffersonville, Indiana man is dead after a crash in Warren County, Kentucky Sunday, Nov. 3.

Kentucky State Police said the crash happened around 1:57 a.m. on I-65 near the 25-mile marker. An initial investigation shows that 26-year-old Alex Bailey was heading north when a deer ran out in front of him, causing him to hit his brakes to avoid it. He was then rear-ended by another vehicle and forced off the road.

Bailey died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the Medical Center of Bowling Green where his injuries aren’t known.

KSP is investigating.
