LAFOURCHE PARISH, LA : 3 people killed in early morning crash on Saturday, 8th June 2024

An early morning two-vehicle crash claimed the lives of three people in Lafourche Parish.

According to Louisiana State Police, the crash happened just after 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 8. Ethelwaldo Dejesus, 55; Braysi Pineda Zuniga, 30; and Page Abadie, 49, were killed.

Troopers said the crash happened on Highway 308 near McCloud Drive in Lockport.

Investigators believe that Dejesus was driving a Honda Accord at a high rate of speed on Highway 308, crossed over the center line, and crashed head-on into a Honda Pilot. The crash happened while the Honda was going through a right curve.
