Milwaukee,WI : Police capture hit-and-run tow-truck driver in western Wisconsin on September, Tuesday 19th 2017
A 29-year-old Milwaukee woman, who police said crashed a tow truck into a family, fled from police and then carjacked a man who stopped to help, has been captured in western Wisconsin.
Jesse Muniz was driving near Locust and Pierce streets on Tuesday afternoon when a truck towing a car blew past him.

"It went around me, and it smashed into a little minivan," Muniz told WISN 12 News.
The wreckage was devastating. Muniz said the people in the van appeared unconscious. He ran to help the tow-truck driver.
"She was all bloody, so I told her calm down. 'There's help on the way,'" he said. "And then she made a stagger and went to my car and opened up the door, and I ran around the passenger side cause I realized I'd left the car running."
Muniz tried to stop her.
"'Get out of my car,' he said. She was super strong, you know. She was about 180 pounds, super strong," he said.
He said two police officers joined the struggle.
"So then one of the officers says, 'I'm going to tase you.' He yelled it out three times, gave her plenty of warning." Muniz said. "They tased her. It didn't affect her. She took off."
Police found Muniz' car a short time later.
"She took her car over to where she worked, jumped in her van and took off," he said.
The scrap yard where the woman was employed wouldn't comment Wednesday. Muniz is thankful to have his car back, but he's very worried about people injured in the van.
Police said those victims remain in serious condition at the hospital.
Officers are transporting the woman, 29, back to Milwaukee to face potential charges of fleeing, hit-and-run causing great bodily harm, battery to a law enforcement officer, strong arm robbery and resisting an officer.
Police will present the case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for charging in the coming days.
