Racine,WI : Woman allegedly injures man in hit-and-run crash on June, Friday 23th 2017

A Racine woman, accused of fleeing a crash that caused injury Friday afternoon, is facing a felony charge in connection to the incident.

Kimberly Watkins-Hutchinson, 26, of the 2600 block of Anthony Lane, allegedly rear-ended a man’s car at the intersection of highways 31 and 38, on the Mount Pleasant side of the intersection, before fleeing the scene.

The victim reportedly suffered back and neck injuries. An eyewitness told investigators that he followed Watkins-Hutchinson after the crash, during which time the witness observed Kimberly Watkins-Hutchinson allegedly drive into a pole and another car, the criminal complaint says.


The witness reportedly saw Watkins-Hutchinson stop her vehicle and go into her apartment before coming back out a few minutes later, at which point Racine Police arrived and arrested her.
