Durant, OK : 73-year-old Melvin Kuba died after struck by a vehicle in Highway 70 near Durant on Tuesday February 16 2016

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Colbert man has died after being struck by a vehicle near Durant.
The OHP says 73-year-old Melvin Kuba died at a Durant hospital Tuesday night just less than an hour after being struck on U.S. Highway 70.
An OHP report says Kuba was trying to walk across the highway shortly before 7:30 p.m. when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
