BETHLEHEM TWP, PA : 1 dead, 2 injured after wrong-way crash on Route 22 in Northampton County on Thursday, 5th October 2023

A deadly wrong-way crash shut down U.S. Route 22 in Bethlehem Township for several hours Thursday.

State Police responded to U.S. 22 eastbound at the State Route 33 interchange 10:41 a.m. for a report of a crash involving three vehicles.

Investigators determined a pickup truck exited the ramp from U.S. 22 eastbound to State Route 33 northbound traveling in the wrong direction, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police.
