LEHIGH ACRES, FL : 1 dead, 1 injured in Lehigh Acres crash on Monday, July 10, 2017

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left a 20-year-old man dead and another in serious condition.

It happened Monday just after midnight between a Dodge car and a Nissan SUV.

Troopers say the Dodge was heading south on Hightower Avenue S. when it turned left onto Leonard Boulevard and into the path of the Nissan.

The driver of the Dodge, Erick Rosales, of Lehigh Acres, died at the scene. Two other teenage passengers suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the Nissan, Terrance Bright, of Fort Myers, was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

Alcohol results are pending for both drivers, according to the crash report. Charges are pending an investigation.
