Sparks , NV : One person was struck by the vehicle While crosssing zone on Monday morning , January 19th 2015

Sparks Police officers have learned the victim who was killed early Monday morning was crossing El Rancho, using a designated pedestrian crossing zone, when she was struck by the vehicle.

The driver has been identified as Adolfo Meza-Gomez, a Reno resident, and was on-scene cooperating with the investigation, according to Sparks Police officials. No charges have been filed at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
