Frankfort, IN : Clinton Central student killed in traffic accident on State Road 29 on Monday evening, June 20, 2016

A Kirklin 17–year–old died in a traffic accident on State Road 29 on Monday evening. Maria Droesch, a Clinton Central Junior/Senior High School student, died at the scene following the crash.

The accident was reported on State Road 29 near County Road 200 North at 5:17 p.m. Eyewitnesses told the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office that it appeared that Droesch, traveling south, did not see a car that was stopped to turn off of State Road 29 until it was too late.
