SMITHFIELD, RI : 1 in critical condition after fiery crash on I-295 south in Smithfield on Friday, 25th October 2024

Authorities said one person is in critical condition after a fiery crash on I-295 south in Smithfield Friday afternoon.

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation had announced the closure of I-295 south due to the crash at around 2 p.m.

The three-vehicle crash occurred on I-295 southbound exit 15B near Route 7 north.
