A man led authorities on a short chase overnight before he died in a crash on State Highway 183 in Irving.
A Dallas County sheriff's deputy attempted a traffic stop on the driver of a black Lexus. The driver was going nearly 90 mph in a 60 mph zone on Interstate 35E near Inwood Road about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, said Melinda Urbina, a spokeswoman for the Dallas County sheriff's office.
