A Vermont motorcyclist is dead after a head-on crash with car on Route 7 in Pittsford.
State police say 43-year-old Bryan Greene of Leicester was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident that occurred just before 6 a.m. on Friday.
Troopers say Greene was operating his motorcycle when he was struck by an Oldsmobile Alero driven by 28-year-old Shane Goodrich of Rutland, Vermont. Goodrich sustained minor injuries.
Police closed a section of Route 7 for about six hours after the crash.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and criminal charges may be filed.
