Whitehall, NY : Northampton man, 28, is killed in Whitehall two-car crash on Thursday, 11th October 2018

A 28-year-old Northampton man was killed Thursday afternoon when the car he was driving collided with a vehicle in the rain and landed in a Whitehall Township cornfield, authorities said.

Brock Weiss was pronounced dead at the scene of the 3:27 p.m. crash, which happened on Ruchsville Road about 100 yards west of Bridge Street. Others were injured.

Weiss graduated with the Northampton Area High School Class of 2009.

The Lehigh County coroner’s office said Thursday night that Weiss died of blunt force injuries. His death was ruled an accident.
