Freeman, SD : One dead in Monday night accident southeast of Freeman on Monday, 3rd October 2016

Freeman fire and ambulance crews were among those responding to a fatal accident 2 miles east/southeast of Freeman on “Old 44” around 10:30 p.m., Monday night, Oct. 3. Details have not been released.

The accident occurred at 280th St. and 441st Ave. Initial reports indicate a person was thrown from a vehicle and then struck. The 911 dispatch said the person was unresponsive.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is expected to release more information later Tuesday.
