Janesville, WI : Man died in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 14 Saturday night, July 30, 2016

The man who died in a two-vehicle accident Saturday night on Highway 14 has been identified.

The deceased is Bruce E. Brown, 57, of 4131 Sandstone Drive, Janesville, according to a Janesville police accident report released Monday.

The accident occurred at 8:19 p.m. Saturday at Highway 14 and County A, when Brown's Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a Ford Edge driven by Gordon L. Hill, 79, of 6711 E. Highway 14, Janesville, according to the report.

The highway was blocked for several hours after the accident.

Hill approached the intersection when the flashing yellow turn signal was activated, saw the motorcycle approaching and thought he had enough time to turn onto County A, but the motorcycle hit the passenger side of Hill's car, according to the report.

The report lists Hill as having “no apparent injury” but says he was transported for medical treatment. Janesville's two hospitals had no record of him being there.
