Memphhis , TN :one women inside truck was injured after Suspected man ran red light and crashed into car on Tuesday , December 9th 2014

A man suspected in a drug investigation ran a red light and crashed into a car that was carrying two people to work on Tuesday morning. The crash happened in Frayser at the intersection of Delano Avenue and N. Watkins Street. Memphis police say they were on their way to an apartment complex when they spotted a methamphetamine investigation suspect driving a silver Pontiac. Police made a U-turn to get behind the silver Pontiac. Suddenly, the car's driver sped up, running a red light, and crashing into a blue truck. A woman inside the blue truck was taken to the hospital, but she is expected to be OK. Investigators cuffed the Pontiac driver immediately following the crash.
