BELLE MEADE, TN : Car crashes into power pole residents without electricity in Belle Meade on Tuesday, 20th February 2024

Power crews and Metro Nashville Police units were called to a car crash in Belle Meade early Tuesday morning.

According to MNPD, the car crashed into a power pole on Harding Pike between Percy Warner Boulevard and Brooke Hollow Road around 5:45 a.m.

The crash knocked out electricity to approximately 120 residents in the area, according to the Nashville Electric Service.

Metro Police officers closed Harding Pike in both directions to allow NES crews to remove and repair the downed power pole, which was left lying across the road after the crash.
