PHOENIX, AZ : 1 dead, 7 injured in multiple vehicle fiery crash in Phoenix on Monday, 2nd August 2021

Phoenix Fire says one person has died and seven other people are injured after a crash involving two cars near 75th Avenue and Indian School early Monday morning. When fire crews got on scene, the cars were on fire. Phoenix police say the crash happened around 4:30 a.m.

Phoenix Police Sgt. Ann Justus say one man died at the scene and a 26-year-old man has life-threatening injuries. Six others - an 28-year-old man, 22-year-old man, an 19-year-old girl, an 18-year-old girl, a 17-year-old girl, and a 25-year-old man, were also injured but their injuries are all non-life-threatening.

Justus says detectives learned that a Chevy Trax with one man was heading west on Indian School School. He allegedly ran a red light at 71st Drive and crashed with a Chevy Silverado that was heading south with seven people inside and was also pulling a trailer. The driver of the Chevy Trax was the man that died.
