Maricopa,AZ : 2 dead, 2 teens seriously injured in SR 238 crash on September, Saturday 2nd 2017

Two drivers are reported dead after a head-on collision on State Route 238 west of Maricopa.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, which is in charge of the investigation, one vehicle contained only a driver while the other had three people in it, including two juveniles, ages 16 and 17. The teens were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries


Further details, including identities, were not immediately available.

The highway was closed in both directions while responders were on the scene.

SR 238 runs between Maricopa and Gila Bend.
