Southeast Portland, OR : Motorcycle crash marks 40th Portland traffic fatality in 2021 on Monday, 23rd August 2021

A motorcyclist died at the scene of a crash Sunday night in Southeast Portland Sunday.

Central Precinct Portland police officers responded to Southeast Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and Southeast Clay Street at 8:25 p.m., where they found that a car and motorcycle collided while turning at the intersection.

The driver of the car survived the collision and cooperated with investigators, according to a news release.
