Charlotte County, FL : Landscaper killed in Charlotte County crash in the 3900 block of Casa Grande Avenue on Monday, 3rd February, 2020

A man mowing grass was killed in a crash Monday afternoon in Charlotte County, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.
According to the FHP, Daniel Matthew Widdows, 49, of Englewood was mowing grass in the 3900 block of Casa Grande Avenue at about 12:49 p.m. Widdows traveled onto the road, directly into the path of a Chevrolet Impala driven east on Casa Grande by Griffin Tyler Miller, 19, of Englewood. The two collided.
Widdows was fatally injured. Miller and two children in the Chevrolet, who were all using seat belts or child restraints, were not hurt.
Miller was charged with having an expired license tag.
