Southington, CT : Motorcyclist injured after crash on I-84 in Southington on Wednesday night, May 11, 2016

A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash on Interstate 84 Wednesday night.

Around 10 p.m., state police responded to a reported crash near exit 33 on I-84 eastbound. A motorcycle driven by Glenn McMinn, 49, of Manchester, rear ended a vehicle, according to a state police accident report. The vehicle that was rear ended continued driving, the report states.

McMinn suffered shoulder and head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Hartford Hospital. His injuries were described by state police as minor. State police issued McMinn infractions for following too closely and operating a motorcycle without a proper license.
