LAS ANIMAS, CO : 1 killed in motorcycle crash near Las Animas on Sunday, 14th July 2024

A motorcycle rider was killed after crashing just outside of Las Animas over the weekend.

The Bent County Sheriff’s Office says its deputies responded to westbound Highway 50 Sunday. The rider lost control and wrecked just past the city limits sign.

“Deputies arrived on scene quickly and located the rider. Unfortunately, deputies determined the rider was deceased at that time,” the sheriff’s office said.
