Memphis, TN : Two dead after Marshall County crash on Highway 72 at New Norfolk Southern Parkway on Thursday evening, November 27, 2014

Two people are dead after an 18-wheeler and a car crashed Thursday evening, according to the Marshall County Coroner. The wreck occurred on Highway 72 at New Norfolk Southern Parkway, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol. MHP says the 18-wheeler was turning left onto U.S. 72 when it collided with the car. According to the Coroner, both the driver, Tyrone Spencer, 36, and passenger, Chenisa Jeffries, 23, died in the crash. Both of them were burned in the crash. The driver of the 18-wheeler is okay, the Coroner says. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
