Monett, MO : Man injured in Hwy. 112 wreck south of Cassville on Saturday, March 11, 2017
A Washburn man was injured Saturday in a wreck at 1 p.m. on Highway 112, two miles south of Cassville.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Landon Hendrix, 17, of Washburn, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado southbound when his vehicle lost control on the snow-covered roadway, traveled into wrong lane and struck a 2011 GMC Sierra, being driven by Joshua Watson, 28, of Washburn.
Watson suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Hendrix was not injured.
Both were wearing safety devices. Damage to the Silverado was extensive, and the Sierra was totaled.
