An Aberdeen woman died Wednesday morning from injuries suffered in a crash that also injured a Jerome man.

Kristy Lesch, 31, succumbed to her injuries at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho State Police said.

ISP responded to the crash about 11:50 p.m. Tuesday on Idaho Highway 39 between Aberdeen and American Falls.

Chad Lesch, 27, of Jerome was southbound on the highway when he lost control of his 2004 Hyundai Accent, which rolled off the right shoulder of the roadway, ISP said in a statement.

Neither Lesch nor his passenger, Kristy Lesch, were wearing seat belts, and both were thrown from the car.

Both were taken by ambulance to Power County Hospital District in American Falls, ISP said. A spokesman at the hospital said Wednesday morning the pair was brought in, stabilized and transferred to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

Chad Lesch was listed in good condition at Portneuf about 11:50 a.m. Wednesday.
