Los Angeles , CA : A fiery crash between a car and a dump truck caused a mess on the 110 Freeway in south Los Angeles on Friday, 12th May 2023

A fiery crash between a car with a drunk driver and a garbage truck caused a mess on the 110 Freeway and its neighboring community in south Los Angeles Friday morning.

California High Patrol said the crash happened just north of Imperial Highway onramp around 2:30 a.m. when the 2022 Honda Sedan ran into the L.A. Sanitation garbage truck, pushing the truck into the cement freeway wall. The crash also involved a third vehicle, a Chevrolet Malibu.

The impact of the crash caused the wall to break sending cement blocks to fall onto the street below. Trash bags and debris also covered the road.
