WALNUT GROVE, GA : Child flown to hospital after accident on Tuesday, 28th April, 2020

A 5-year-old was flown to an Atlanta children’s hospital with a head injury.
Battalion Chief Craig League of Walton County Fire Rescue said emergency personnel responded shortly after 6:35 p.m. Tuesday to Bunny Court to a call of a head injury when a child fell on concrete.The parking lot of nearby Walnut Grove High School was used as a landing zone for an air ambulance, which flew the child to Children’s Hospital of Atlanta at Egleston.
League said the child’s injury was serious.
