Sorrento, FL : Two people killed in head-on crash in Lake County on Tuesday night July 1st 2014

Two people were killed in a head-on crash in Lake County on Tuesday night.

Troopers say 19-year-old Ryder Medlin crossed over the center line on State Road 46 in Sorrento on Tuesday night and slammed head-on into another vehicle.

Medlin and 62-year-old Larry Culp, of Sanford, who was driving the other truck, were both killed.

Troopers are investigating what caused the young man to swerve. After the initial accident, a third car, driven by 52-year-old Lisa Garbers, of Longwood, hit Culp's truck. Garbers had minor injuries from the accident, troopers said.

An alcohol test is pending.
