Adena Woman Killed in Motorcycle Accident Near Columbiana Ohio

An Adena woman was killed Thursday afternoon when the motorcycle she was riding on struck two trees in Columbiana County.The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred on State Route 9 in Butler Township.The driver, Richard Hall, of Kingsport, Tennessee, was traveling south on Route 9 when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and into a wooded area, where he struck the two trees. He and his passenger, Kara Molnar, were ejected from the bike.Molnar was pronounced dead at the scene. Hall was taken by helicopter to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where he was listed in stable condition.The patrol said neither Hall nor Molnar was wearing helmets. The crash remains under investigation.
