HESPERIA, CA : Los Angeles motorcyclist killed in crash on Highway 173 near Hesperia on Saturday, October, 21st 2017

A 30-year-old Los Angeles motorcyclist who was traveling with a group of motorcycle enthusiasts was identified Saturday as the victim of a crash south of the Hesperia area, according to the San Bernardino County coroner’s website.

Kaleena Ann Porter was traveling near Highways 173 and 138 about 3:45 p.m.Thursday, according to the website.

Porter and the other motorcyclists were headed east on Highway 173, about 6 miles east of Highway 138, when Porter’s motorcycle crossed the center divider at a curve and was hit by an oncoming pickup truck, the website reads.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene and she was pronounced dead at 4:03 p.m., according to the website.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
