LIVE OAK, FL : McAlpin man killed in crash on U.S. Highway 129 on Sunday, 23rd February, 2020

A McAlpin man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 67-year-old Frederick Patterson was traveling north on U.S. Highway 129 around 9:20 a.m. when his truck veered right and left the road for reasons still being investigated.

The Ford F-250 continued north on the east shoulder of the highway until it went airborne and overturned, the FHP report states.

Patterson was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
