Police were investigating a deadly crash early Thursday morning involving a bicyclist in Lancaster.
Officials told Channel 9 the cyclist was struck by a truck on Highway 9 near USC-Lancaster.
Circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately available but police told Channel 9 the victim was a man in his 40s or 50s.
Investigators said the driver who hit him stopped immediately and there happened to be an EMS crew right behind the truck, but they were unable to save the cyclist.
