Hopkinsville,KY : Illinois man injured in weekend accident on February, Saturday 24th 2018

An Illinois resident was injured in a single-vehicle collision that was apparently caused by recent heavy rains in Hopkins County.
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office, Joseph Dozier, 65, of Venice was traveling south on Interstate 69 at approximately 2:26 p.m. Saturday when his 2006 Mercury SUV hydroplaned near the 124 mile marker and slid off the right side of the road. The vehicle reportedly flipped end-over-end before coming to rest in a ditch.
