One person is dead after a single-car crash on Interstate 90 overnight.

Police said the accident happened just after 1 a.m. near State Route 91 in Willoughby Hills.

The car split in half after hitting a highway sign.

Police confirmed to newsnet5.com that one person died in the crash.
