MARTINSBURG, WV : Berkeley County motorcycle crash investigation continues on Sunday, September 3, 2017

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office was still investigating a Sunday night motorcycle accident on Winchester Avenue that seriously injured the operator and passenger, Sheriff Curtis Keller said Monday.
Keller said Monday afternoon that a deputy was trying to verify the identities of the male operator and female passenger, who were taken to separate hospitals following the crash, which was reported at 9:22 p.m. in the 5000 block of Winchester Avenue.
A 911 dispatcher said Sunday that a medevac helicopter was called to the scene.
The male was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va., and the female to Winchester (Va.) Medical Center, according to Curtis.
