St. Augustine ,FL :65-year-old Regina Souza Dos Anjos killed in crash along State Road 206 on Monday ,June 15 2015

A 65-year-old woman was killed Monday morning in a crash on U.S. 1 at State Road 206 in St. Augustine, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Regina Souza Dos Anjos of Brazil was a passenger in a Volkswagen Jetta traveling north on U.S. 1 in the left turn lane approaching the intersection of SR 206 just before 11 a.m. The Jetta, driven by 40-year-old Andrea Ribeiro Da Silva of Brazil, attempted to turn left onto SR 206 but didn't yield the right of way to a Dodge Ram truck traveling south on U.S. 1 in the outside lane, according to the FHP report.

The truck, driven by 51-year-old St. Augustine resident Anthony Michael Lorenti, hit the right rear side of the Jetta.

Lorenti, Da Silva, and another passenger in the Jetta -- 18-year-old Mateus Ribeiro Dos Anjos -- were not hurt, according to the FHP report.

Regina Souza Dos Anjos suffered critical injuries and died at Flagler Hospital.
