PHOENIX, AZ : Crash involving Valley Metro bus shuts down intersection in Phoenix on Thursday, 11th April 2024

A driver is seriously hurt after crashing into a Valley Metro bus in central Phoenix intersection early Thursday morning.

A car rammed into the back of the bus just before 5 a.m. at 7th Street and Glendale Avenue, police said. The driver of the car was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, but no one else was injured. The intersection was closed as detectives investigated what led up to the crash.
