Sunset Hills, MO : One person killed in head-on crash in Highway 30 Sunset Hills on Friday November 13 2015

One person was killed in a crash at the intersection of Highway 30 and West Watson Road in Sunset Hills on Friday.
He was identified Friday night as Scott W. Marek, 22, of Fenton.
The Fenton Fire Department responded to a call at 11:11 a.m. involving multiple vehicles at the intersection westbound on Highway 30 (Gravois Road) at West Watson Road.
Authorities first said two had died, but later said that report was erroneous.
Juston Wheetley, a spokesperson with the Missouri Highway Patrol, said that a pick-up truck traveling eastbound on Highway 30 was making a left turn to cross over Highway 30 to Watson Road when the he struck a small westbound passenger car occupied by two people. Both vehicles drove off the northwest side of the roadway. The passenger car overturned.
Marek, the driver of the passenger car, was pronounced dead. A passenger, Waylon D. Caldwell, 23, of High Ridge, was transported to a hospital and listed as critical. The pickup's driver, identified as Gary L. Brown, 76, of House Springs, was also taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
